Save Shakespeare House From Closure!

This is a petition to save Shakespeare House on 165 Kingsbrook Road, Whalley Range, Manchester from closure.

Shakespeare House is a community centre where we develop and deliver innovative community regeneration projects. It is a centre for everyone, for Muslims, Christians, People of faith, people of no faith, for men women and children.

Manchester City Council believes that Shakespeare House is detrimental to the local area and has been ordered it to close by the 31st of October 2009 and has threatened the centre with a £20,000 fine if it doesn't.
